About the place
Doctor Karl Diel is one of the town's notable figures, and a 3.25-metre bronze statue of him, a listed monument, stands in the centre. The memorial house presents his life and work.
The display includes medical instruments from early 20th-century Banat, period clothing and family objects. It also shows the town's multi-ethnic character. Visits are by appointment.
