Carbonated mineral water is the reason the resort grew up here more than 200 years ago.
About the place
The Buziaș waters are carbonated and sodium-chloride, with calcium and magnesium, and about 7 degrees at the source. The first chemical analysis was in 1805 and the first bathing season in 1811.
The resort also has the Moș Bâzieș spring, drilled in 1984, on Strada Principală, and the Izvorul Sănătății fountain in the centre. Twelve deep wells were drilled between 1903 and 1907.
Good to know
- Bring an empty bottle to fill.
- The taste is strongly mineral and not for everyone.
- The Moș Bâzieș spring is a few minutes' walk away on Strada Principală.
